I bought this LP new in November 1971.
Cover - Shrink on. Bit of price tag residue on shrink, upper right portion. Corners show some bumps. Red mark on back cover on shrink. No writing, no cover splits.
Vinyl - Some rubbing streaks, some smudging, light marks.
Sleeve - Paper, Liberty, World Pacific et. al. with pix of albums.

On line sources indicate this was recorded in October 1968. Probably released in England in 1968 on the UK Liberty label. It was released on this World Pacific label in the US in the first half of 1969, maybe June. The Billboard issue of June 14, 1969, p68 has this title/catalog number listed in the section SPECIAL MERIT PICKS, BLUES.
We needed friends to turn each other on to TS McPhee and the Groundhogs. Not much radio play, not on TV (that I ever saw) but a get down and grind it out guitar-led band that left a big smile coursing through you.
This album finds them playing their versions of some Blues standards.
No problem with that, keep it coming.
