Description
PLEASE NOTE. I WILL GRADE THIS LP AS FAIR TO GOOD, VISUALLY GRADED ONLY. Playability is questioned - please consider this when making a bid.
ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE 1956 MONO DEEP GROOVE WITH 446 W. 50th St, N.Y.C. on label, and "RVG" etched onto dead wax. The matrices are:
Side A: PRLP - 7071 - A AB B RVG (Note: B is vertical to RVG and looks stamped; AB also could be stamped)
Side B: PRLP - 7071 - B AB A RVG (same note as above)
Jacket with light edge and corner wear, no splits, bottom edge little bowed outward (as viewed from front jacket); back jacket shows what looks to be a moisture impact to near bottom edge, all the way across bottom edge and about 1" up. There is no warping of LP as a result of this jacket bowing of bottom edge. Jacket with a faint ring front jacket, light soiling of white spaces front and rear jackets, no previous owner markings.
LP stored in original rice paper inner sleeve, which is now torn up. It will be conveyed but LP now stored in plain white inner sleeve, and rice paper sleeve and this new sleeve/record stored outside the jacket. The record does not look chewed up like well worn Beatles records, but there are a very good number of light scratches and scuffs. It could benefit from a good cleaning, but I will not grade any higher than a range of Fair to Good.
