Thanks for looking at my auction, which is for the excellent and long out of print 1996 Low album "The Curtain Hits The Cast" on vinyl. This 2 LP set was released on Vernon Yard Records and was limited edition, with each copy individually numbered in gold on the back. While I'm not positive, I believe there were only 2000 or 2500 copies made. This copy is an extra low #175. The records are also pressed on virgin vinyl. The LP is like new. Because of the small saw mark in the top left corner (the first photo makes it look bad, see the photo with the number for a better idea of how it really looks) and the very low number, I am pretty sure that this is a promotional copy that was given out to a friend or family member. This makes this LP more desirable because it was one of the first copies made at the pressing plant. The jacket is in VG++ condition overall, with only minimal wear apart from the saw mark and a couple of very small creases along the bottom left corner. In the photo, the jacket might appear faded, but it is only the flash reflection. This was very difficult to photograph. Also included are the intact, original inner sleeves.

The discs are near mint, and look and play beautifully with minimal noise. They were probably unplayed before I got the LP, and I only played it twice. Something else very special about this record is that the discs are pressed on virgin vinyl for amazing sound quality (which you will notice when you play it), and you can see through each disc if you hold it up to the light.

There is a 99 cent opening bid and no reserve on this item.

All LPs are shipped well packed in specially made boxes manufactured exclusively for shipping LPs. Records are carefully packaged between pre-cut cardboard filler pads to prevent them from getting bent or damaged during transit. All LPs, new or used, are sent in brand new polypropylene protective sleeves to protect and enhance the beauty of your investment. I also clean and vacuum any LP that is not sealed on a VPI professional record vacuum, so the LP will have the best possible sound when it arrives to you. I ship all LPs in the above manner, no matter the final bid outcome. If the LP you win is not sealed, I will ship the record or records in their inner sleeves on the outside of and next to the jacket to avoid seam splitting.

I prefer Paypal for payment as soon as possible after the auction has ended. Please do not bid if you will not pay within 14 days. I will ship your item either the day I receive your payment or the very next day. I will also accept a money order (postal preferred) or US $ hidden well in a letter. I cannot be responsible for cash sent in the mail. Please check my feedback if you have any concerns regarding my integrity. I will not rip you off. I do not accept personal checks.
