All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
These records are in excellent condition. There are some spindle marks visible on each label but no pen marks, scuffs or severe fading. The centres show some light wear to them but none are loose or worn. Overall all the labels show light signs of use but have no serious issues.
As for the vinyl itself, all 8 sides have no deep or serious marks showing. There is some light surface lines and signs of use to each side but nothing nasty or major. I will try to outline the visual and audio on each side below. All 8 sides lay flat and upon playing have little to no arm movement present.
During the play test I noted the following:
Side 1: The odd faint wispy line present but nothing at all serious. Slight traces of surface noise in the run in but then no major issues with strong EX audio throughout.
Side 2: Vinyl has some very faint 'manufacturing whiskers/marks' but would be the cleanest of all 4 lps. Audio has no serious issues and little to no interference. Nice strong EX audio from start to finish.
Side 3: Again some very faint manufacturing 'marks' but these are not scratches. The odd very light thin line. The audio is as side 1 but has 3 light thuds audible in the last track.
Side 4: The odd light line showing. There is also some light superficial 'mottling' in places but overall very clean. Very clear and enjoyable audio throughout.
Side 5: The odd light line showing. There is also some light superficial 'mottling' in places but overall very clean. Audio as per side 4.
Side 6: Minor sleeve scuffs in places and faint manufacturing marks. The audio is nice and clear with no major issues but I did hear some light noise in the vocal intro to track 3 and then around 10 or so light ticks in the intro to this song.
Side 7: Vinyl has some very faint 'manufacturing whiskers/marks' but would be the cleanest of all 4 lps. Audio as side 1
Side 8: The odd very light line showing and a light 'wiggly' mark/scratch. Nothing serious. Audio as side 1 and 7
So overall all four lps play really well with nice clear audio throughout. There is a few noises in places but nothing major and the audio combined through all the sides is a strong EX in my opinion.
The box itself is in very good condition. It is strong all round and has no splits to the edges or corners. There are no pen marks anywhere but there is some wear on the edges and corners. There is also some paint work flaking off on the top/lid. There is also some mild general age related grubbiness and wear in places but nothing extreme and overall considering its age it is in tidy enough condition. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
Its booklet/insert is included and is in excellent- condition. This has no tears or pen marks but there is some light signs of handling, mild age related grubbiness and slight signs of use.
It contains all four of its original poly-lined inners which are all strong with no splits or tears. There is no pen marks or major creasing but all four have mild wear, ring marks and age related grubbiness
The box set/records will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent within 24hrs of receiving payment to try and ensure a swift delivery.
