This is the very hard to find LP originally released in 1961 in Mexico, although this is an Argentine pressing. It's the result of a contest held in 1960 for teenage rock & roll bands, where Los Hooligans ended as the winners. However, four other participant teen groups/bands were given the opportunity to record. In this album of 12 fine rock & roll tracks, there are 4 tracks by Los Hooligans, 2 by Los Loud Jets; 3 featuring Los Blue Caps, and 3 by Los Sparks. This LP was released by Columbia records, and, unfortunately, it has never and may never be released on CD. It's Vol. 2 of 2 volumes released that year. Due to its age, the record and the cover aren't in mint condition, obviously. The cover was finely glued at the top and bottom, and the spine is in good condition. The record looks VG+, and the audio, you can judge it on your own by listening to the audio clips at the bottom. It's truly a collectible record for 50s and early 60s rock & roll music collectors, and I'm only selling it because I was fortunate enough to find a Mexican pressing for my collection, but it's the same songs at the end. The price was determined on what I had originally paid for it and that its value will continue to rise as the years pass, and also due to its scarcity.
