Description
From 1972, comes Lou Reed's second solo LP entitled Transformer on RCA LSP4807 orange label. Scarce orange LSP original of eleven song record. Includes the complete,unedited Walk On The Wild Side. Lou Reed had earlier been a member of The Velvet Underground. Check out the song by Andy Warhol entitled Andy's Chest. I often wondered if this album had to do with his time with Andy Warhol. The LP was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson, who also arranged the songs and sing background vocals. Other musicians include Klaus Voorman and Herbie Flowers, Barry DeSouza, and John Halzey.There is a factory sticker on the front cover advertising the complete, unedited version of Walk On The Wild Side.
