LOU DONALDSON with The Three Sounds "LD + 3" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4012. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1959. Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is Deep Groove on both sides with the "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick heavy vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Gene Harris/piano; Andrew Simpkins/bass; Bill Dowdy/drums. The vinyl is mostly in VG+ condition: very glossy with some light marks or scuffs. One track (side 1 - 2nd cut) has a couple tiny marks that may be audible or affect play briefly. The laminated cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully. There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
