LOU DONALDSON:  BLUE NOTE Records HI-FI  BLP-1591 (Mfd in NYC in the late 50's) TAKES OFF  - TRAX Are:  STROLLIN' IN, GROOVIN' HIGH, SPUTNIK, and DEWEY SQUARE.  Featuring:  DONALD BYRD, CURTIS FULLER, LOU DONALDSON, SONNY CLARK, GEORGE JOYNER, and ART TAYLOR.   The cover is overall in Near-Excellent condition, with only very light shelfwear, and some wear to the tips of the corners on the Spine.  No writing, no bends, no splits, no shelfwear on the Front, and no yellowing or age spots--the back is basically clean and white (with light shelfwear near the top and bottom, but not much).  The Deadwax Zone has machine stamped on it:  RVG  -  the Ear Mark is there  -  hand-etched neatly is BN-LP -1591-A and B (on the B side);  there is also a small etched and sideways 7 and M on both sides.  The label is clean and like new on both sides. The vinyl record has the original gloss;  it has some extrememly light scuffs, almost like "paper scuffs".  It looks VG++/almost new.  It plays nicely at Almost New/New.  I almost put down New, but decided to use the slightly more conservative "almost new.".  It's really nice, though, and you won't be disappointed in this one.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record at:     www.gate.net/~rhanes/loudonaldsonlptakes.ra    -   If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as REAL AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself.  I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00, or Air Priority for $9.00.  The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required, but I'll pay $4 of the $11.50 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for over $120. to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $28.  If it sells to a non-US Bidder for over $500, it will have to ship GLOBAL EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL for $36.00.  Since I will have to insure it myself, I will have to declare full sales value.  If paying other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want.  Postage rates to Japan are considerably MUCH LESS.  Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
