Es una de las bandas venezolanas de mayor éxito a nivel mundial. Han grabado en los estudios Abbey Road de Londres y se han dado el gran gusto de tocar en The Cavern, el pub que vio los primeros pasos de la carrera musical de The Beatles. Mucho más que una Banda Tributo a The Beatles, Los Buitres es una agrupación que derrocha talento en sus presentaciones en vivo dentro y fuera de su país. Actualmente es considerada una de las mejores bandas tributo a The Beatles del mundo.

La Banda esta formada por: Alejandro Pérez, en la batería y los coros; Ibsen Rosales en la guitarra líder y como vocal líder; Axel Rojas en la guitarra y también como vocal líder y Carlos Quintero como bajista y vocal líder.

En 1998 la banda cambió su nombre de Los Buitres a Los Beat3 con la intención de internacionalizarse y debido también a una recomendación que le hiciera, en 1998, uno de los productores musicales de Ricky Martin a Luis Alegrett, mánager del grupo; ya que el nombre “Los Buitres” no era muy comercial y debía buscarse un nombre más apropiado. Al final se decidió cambiar a “Los Buitres” por “Los Beat3?, y la línea de la banda se mantendría ya que el nombre incorpora a “Beat” por ser el tipo de música que interpretan y por “Beatles” y al “tres” que, escrito como número, es universal.

En 1999 el grupo hizo su primera participación en “International Beatle Week Festival”, en Liverpool, Inglaterra. En este festival participarían también en los años 2000 y 2001 haciendo un total aproximado de 24 conciertos que incluyen canciones en inglés y español y 9 presentaciones en “The Cavern”, el local donde The Beatles encontraron la fama. El “International Beatle Week Festival” se celebra todos los años en Liverpool como un tributo a The Beatles.

Igualmente, la banda ha sido invitada a otros eventos de relevante importancia en el Los Beat3 con el primo de Paul McCartney, en un ambiente Beatle como la “Semana Beatle Latinoamericana” que se celebra en Buenos Aires, Argentina; el “Beatle Fest” de Moscú, a Australia al “Australian Beatles Festival” y a México, al “1er. festival De La Beatlemania 2005?.

Los Beat3 es la primera banda venezolana que fue invitada a grabar un tema propio en el estudio 2 de Abbey Road Studios; este estudio era el estudio oficial de The Beatles y en él grabaron la mayoría de sus discos. En Abbey Road Los Beat3 grabaron un tema para el disco “Why Don’t We Do It In Abbey Road”, un CD que contiene 16 temas de las mejores bandas Covers de The Beatles del mundo, tras 5 años de minuciosa selección por parte de los productores.

The beat3 is the first Venezuelan band was invited to record your own theme in study 2 of Abbey Road Studios; this study was the official study by The Beatles and he recorded most of their albums.
