Record Grading

(S) SEALED: Never opened.
(M) MINT: Vinyl absolutely perfect in every way. Only Sealed records that are like-new are graded Mint.
(NM) NEAR MINT: Vinyl is nearly perfect and shows no obvious signs of wear. Cover has no creases, writing, folds, seam splits or cut-out holes.
(EX) EXCELLENT (same aVG+ VERY GOOD PLUS): Vinyl may have signs of light wear but still plays great, with only barely perceptible background noise. Cover may show slight signs of handling.
(VG) VERY GOOD: Vinyl has some scratches and/or scuffs; it might crackle, pop and make other noise, but it does not overwhelm the music. Cover shows slightly greater use, such as ring wear, soft corners,split seams, etc.
(G) GOOD: Vinyl has defects that might produce significant surface noise. Cover has more than normal wear and tear.
(P) POOR: Vinyl and/or cover is in very rough shape. Valued usually as a placeholder until a better copy is located.
