Lora Lyn and Lora Lee
(sisters) go hand in hand to the rarely expored vein of
low key acid jesus music. Especially odd is these gals
came out of a very small farming community in Southern
Ontario Canada.
(the Revised Version also released an album at the same time
which I also have copies of)
Lora sings in a solid earthy Alto tone, while Jana Lyn
adds an angelic sweetness of a Saprano.
They mesh uniquely.
This was recorded live off the floor in a budget sounding
stereo set up that works wonders. Some slight echo
applied in a few well placed spots,
enchants the ears to the dark corners
of a mystical search.
The best material which I have to mention of and
clarity be made with the fact it was written by
the Stewart sisters. Lora writes more material
but I give the freak crown to Jana with her
slow fuzz groover (the band is on point here)
'it seemed so easy' which also doubles as
a heartbreaker.
Super rare and the occassion for this one
to be sold is not to be missed for serious
private psychedelic collectors.
THE nicest copy I have been able to unearth.
I opened from sealed. removed the plastic totally
as there was some mildewing starting on the back cover
due to some rip in the plastic -
but no major issues otherwise. Cleaned up nice
and the Record is near mint - cleaned up and play graded once.
