VERY RARE MEXICAN PRIVATE RELEASED HARD PSYCH PROGRESSIVE LP FEATURING STUNNING LONG TRACKS. This is a total monster heavy fuzz LP with garage progressive aspirations, the best thing around from this era for psych heads! All instrumental, long tracks with insane over-the-top fuzz action! This is like the prototype for what now is called "stoner rock".

Loch Ness was formed in 1986 by Edgar Anaya (guitar), Victor Basurto (Bass) and Pepe Centurion (Drums), when the ebullition of 'Rock in Spanish' was at its peak. Instead of listening to the chants of the sirens, like many rock groups did, the trio went on to compose their own pieces, completely ignoring the empresarial canons, designed to produce a rock for families. Thats why theirs is a music that circulates among a reduced sector of persons: those interested in going deep into aural explorations. Their affection for discographic collection has certainly repercuted on their musical development, helping them to form a fine and prenetrating criterium, useful to apprecciate the music they listen to as well as the one they interpret. Loch Ness is a name that has never appeared in the posters that announce gigs. Due to the lack of proper conditions for presenting live their multimedia concept of scenery, the group uses rehearsal to gather experience . Once that was taken to the recording studios it has fructified in two albums: 'Loch Ness'(1987) and Ox (1988), this last one with Arturo Lopez substituting Pepe on drums. Both of them built on similar premises. They are a collection of instrumental pieces, structured in the manner of progressive rock, executed with a minimum of instruments (bass, guitar and drums) and the force of the most powerful hard rock, without falling into the cliches that are so abundant in this genre.
