LITTLE RICHARD VERY RARE 'RIP IT UP' ON 1956 'GOLD LABEL'

On offer the extremely RARE edition with the original
1956 GOLD LONDON LABEL in its original sleeve.

It's the TRI-CENTRE version of "RIP IT UP" By LITTLE RICHARD
with "READY TEDDY" on the B-side.
CAT. NO 45 -HLO 8336

It has the marking MSCF 1437  - IC  and  IH on the run-out...on the RIP IT UP side
and MSCF 1438 - IC  and  KH on the run-out on the READY TEDDY  B- side

That's the good news - the bad is that the TRIANGULAR centre has become loose and detached,
but could, I feel (with some restoration work) be re-instated.
Also the condition of the vinyl is, in my subjective opinion, not brilliant -  but it's not that bad either...
and I would grade both sides to be VG+
There are surface and scuff marks, but they look to me to be only superficial,
although I'm only able to inspect it visually (under bright light)  at the moment
I have tried to photgraph the single from all angles, so you can try and make your own mind up.

It is not that MINT version that could be out there somewhere, but by starting the auction off at only 99p you

I am in the process of selling a few rare and unusual records, some in MINT but most in the EX or VERY GOOD PLUS range of condition.

I try to grade records as accurately and as fairly as I can, as I have found that things I have bought on eBay have mostly been described pretty well, with only a couple in a hundred and eighty-odd transactions being not quite as described - but near enough for me not to complain!

MINT (M) -  Sealed and/or obviously unplayed. Perfect condition.

NEAR MINT (NM) -  Vinyl in new condition, record may have been played once or twice.
The cover may have very, very slight wear and/or creasing.

EXCELLENT. (EX) - The record shows evidence of being played with a few light surface marks or scuffs. the cover posssibly has slight general wear.

VERY GOOD (VG) - The record shows signs of being played a lot with a few light scuffs,  scratches and subject to normal wear and tear.

GOOD - Plays reasonably well but has lots of scuffing/scratching that may be distracting. The cover shows lots of wear with creasing, tears and splits.
