Description

Here we have a very rare Promo/Advance Copy of the classic Soul-Funk album by LITTLE MILTON entitled Grits Ain't Groceries. It was issued in 1969 on the Chess record label and the catalogue no. is CRLS 4552.

The record is in excellent condition and plays very well. There are no skips or jumps and the sound is sharp and clear.

Because this a Promo/Advance Copy there is no picture sleeve. What we have instead is a plain white sleeve attached to which is a typed announcement from Pye Records Limited dated 9th July 1969 setting out the track details and confirming the forthcoming release date for the album as 1st August 1969. This is in VG condition for its near 55 years of age and except for slight label damage in one corner and a few grubby marks there are no other major issues
