Description

Little Feat WS 1890 .. first LP ... In my unsolicited opinion, this was the very best U.S. band of the 1970s.  With a unique blues rock sound with adequate percussion, harmonica, keyboards and slide guitar. Ry Cooder is guest guitarist on Forty Four Blues / How Many More Years . Lowell George and Little Feat embraced Blues, Rock, Country and Folk and were never the top 40 commercial success of their Southern California counterparts The Eagles, Jefferson Starship and the remnants of Crosby Stills Nash & Young or the new Byrd lineups  .... but then Who really cared? The Feat were sort of like the West Coast version of The Allman Brothers and they were a better live show ... raw and simple yet deep full sound.

Cover: This is not the rare release cover with the large photo of Lowell George and the broom. Instead this is the cover with the smaller photo and the lyrics on back. I have seen promos both ways as well as green label copies. Cover still in shrinkwrap EX+ .. just a little yellowing along back opening from age. It is very light but needs mentioning and keeps the  ocver from being NM.

Vinyl: Side One has a couple of noticeable scuffs.. particularly track four .. but this has been my listening copy for a while now and the marks do not affect play... there are other isolated scuffs from the original paper sleeve being torn and folded over. It has been replaced with another vintage paper sleeve.... Side Two is almost NM so grading for the vinyl EX/NM-.
