This is a very nice first pressing of Link Wray And His Wraymen released in 1963 on Swan Records, on the original mostly white label with red lettering. This is early recordings of one of the most influential rock guitarists. This Lp is very rare with near mint pressing having a $150 book value.

As to grading I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG++, I prefer use of grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is graded on the high end of very good to very good plus with several very light marks that cannot be felt, more on Side 2 than Side 1. The LP plays very nicely even in dead areas between songs, with only very infrequent hint of very light crackle. There is writing on Side 2 of label.  Note that the LP was tested several weeks prior to listing and cleaned by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before play. The cover is in very good minus.condition primarily due to several seam splits. All corners on cover show some wear.  The top bottom seam has a split of about 1 inch near the spine. The split extends to the spine of the cover extending to half of the cover. There is a tape repaired split on the top of cover of about 4 inches as well. There is also a tape repaired seam split of about 1.5 inches on the bottom seam at the mouth. The front cover shows nice color with some ring wear evident on the bottom of front cover. There is slight ring and other wear evident in white areas on back of cover as well as writing.

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
