Founded by enigmatic Quebec poet Raoul Duguay and classically-trained saxophonist Walter Boudreau as a (Terry Riley influenced) experimental contemporary jazz-rock orchestra workshop, this is l'Infonie's coveted self-produced double album 3rd release (out-of-print) capturing the outfit at their progressive peak.....avant-garde mahem bordering on controlled chaos, weird improvisations, and free-form Zappa-esque jazz rock at it's eclectic best !All Music Guide: "In the early '70s, L'Infonie was the leader of the countercultural movement in Montreal. The band's complex compositions and propensity for free improvisation, coupled with its stage antics and pop-spiritual philosophy, make it THE cult band in the history of the Montreal avant-garde music.
