Description

LINDA RONSTADT Greatest Hits, Asylum 7E-1092 LP~ White record Label Promo  Vinyl and gatefold are excellent to NM, front of jacktet is also excellent.  Back of Jacket has slight ring wear from storage and has promo stamp.  Original dust sleeve in excellent condition.

White record label promo copies are different from stock, or commercially released, pressings in that they could have a completely different label. White label promo pressings are usually pressed before the commercial copies, in order to get them to the radio stations prior to the commercial release date. That means that the white label promo pressings are among the first records pressed from the stampers for a particular release, which generally means they may sound better than their stock counterparts.

White label promo copies are desirable to collectors and audiophiles simply because they often sound better.
