Description
LIMONADA / SONDOR 33.111 / 1970 / Very rare and little known Uruguay outfit that arose from the ashes of legendary El Kinto. In this one their 1st and only lp the band developes an interesting fusion of psych beat with backward vocals & various effects in between tracks melted with some local rhythms, Weird! This is an amazing mix of progressive Rock with great guitars and some local Cadombe touches and lotsa psychedelic effects, tempo changes, weird effects etc.... If you never heard them, listen to "Siempre Caminar"on YouTube, fantastic song!
Condition: The sleeve is in fair condition. The record is in very good- condition. Awesome cover art.
This reads the Magic Land book on them:
Band formed by Walter Cambón (ex-El Kinto), Luis Sosa, Dardo Martínez and Ricardo Landa. Their only LP from 1972 (Limonada - Sondor 33111) is an interesting fusion of candombe and rock. But the small "marketing office" of the record label was someplace else, and the record flopped.
