US ORIGINAL LP FIRST PRESS MAROON LABLE

A cool issue on this rare US lable. It's a tough one to  find now.
The music is top quality acoustic blues, with Lightnin' playing some of his classic original compositions.
The tracks were cultivated from some of his early 50s recordings,
His outstanding vocals lean to a talking style in places, making for a relaxed feel ... and like being in the room with him! He also comes over as a rather likeable man, you feel like you are able to relate with his extremely personable character - thus making his music warm and 'feelgood' listening.

CONDITION;
The disc is in VG+ shape, but for side 2 track 3, which has a mark that's feelable, and sounds.
Generally these tracks were recorded on clandestine equipment from an old source, so it's not 'high fidelity' from the beginning. Still a nice document of a legendary artist.

Lables are clean EX.

The firm card COVER grades VG+, seams are excellent and overall a flat complete example. Small writing on the lower rear, and a slight separation of the paste on the top corner which can be re-glued.
