Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the dark blue Library of Congress Division of Music, Recording Laboratory label, Washington D.C. 1947. Recordings done during early and mid 1940s. It is Album XVII entitled Folk Music Of The United States-Seneca Songs from Coldspring Longhouse from the Archive of American Folk Song. All selections are sung by Chauncey Johnny John and Albert Jones at Quaker Bridge, Allegheny Reservation, N.Y. American Indian music, Iroquois Indians of the Northeast. Vocals with drum also. I have a pictures of 5 of the 10 sides for reference to titles. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well. It even has the accompanying 16 page typed paper booklet with musical information. Cover in very good condition as well.
