Description
Amazing, probably unique, opportunity to purchase a genuinely mint, unplayed Stones Uk First Pressing classic!
This is on the 1969 large print unboxed Decca label SKL 5025
Matrix numbers : XZAC 9363-P-3W / XZAC 9364-P-3W
A first pressing of this album sold recently on eBay for £255, in excellent condition, and this album is in even better condition and probably rarer having never been played!
This is one of six 'lost'albums I will be listing that never made it onto general sale despite having their original shop price tags attached. They 'resurfaced' about three years ago and have been in my possession ever since. I put each in a Nagaoka anti-static sleeve and a protective vinyl sleeve and carefully stored them away as investments against a rainy day so can guarantee they have never been played!
I now need to sell these albums to help pay for a new, ridiculously expensive, arm and cartridge for my Linn!

The heavy vinyl has a gorgeous, unplayed sheen that I have not quite managed to capture on the photographs, unfortunately, though the pictures give some idea of the quality of the vinyl : it is simply stunning!
The labels,of course, are in mint condition!
The poster has never been opened so is also in mint condition.
Being extremely critical I would class the sleeve as being in Mint- condition simply because while the front and back of the album sleeve are perfect and the spine, top & bottom edges are mint and razor sharp the opening edge is marginally less sharp so it doesn't quite look brand new. However, I'm sure most would class the sleeve as mint.
The Blue Decca inner sleeve carries detailed track listing with musicians.
Along with the poster sticker on the front cover is a white, shop 'Price H' sticker. (HMV, I believe)

This is a true Stones classic that is highly unlikely to ever come up for sale in this condition again! Even archivists usually play albums once to tape them before storing them safely away.
I will post the album out of its sleeve to prevent splitting. It will be very carefully packed with stiffeners and posted Special Delivery with covering insurance. However, if you prefer you may collect the album yourself if you do not want to risk postage.
Unfortunately, to guarantee unplayed condition of the album I cannot offer a refund but please examine my feedback and bid with confidence! I guarantee you will not be disappointed by the condition of this album!
If this sale goes well I will be listing the following original, mint and unplayed albums:
Rolling Stones: big hits (high tide and green grass)
Rolling Stones: 'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out'
Rolling Stones: 'Beggars Banquet'
Bob Dylan: 'Bringing It All Back Home'
Bob Dylan: 'Greatest Hits'
Please feel free to ask any questions.
Good luck bidding!

I decided to try for some better pictures of the album and have just discovered an extremely light short surface scratch on on track 1 side 1. I missed it because it can only be seen if the album is held at an angle in bright light. I'm certain it will not be audible but felt it only fair to point it out. I'm also certain it has been there from new.
