Up for bids is a great, mono Jazz compilation LP by Lester Young called "Blue Lester". Savoy Records. MG-12068. 1956.
ORIGINAL PRESSING!DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Trail-off's each have etched "RVG."
Front of cover in laminated.
Comes with plastic Audio Fidelity inner sleeve in VG++ condition (record will be shipped in separate polylined sleeve and outside cover).
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is a VG to VG+. Front and back have some minor wear. Bottom corner at opening has a ding and a tear. Strong and sturdy, this is still a nice example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as VG to VG+. Looks really nice with some minor marks that do not affect play. There is surface noise mainly during quiet areas and in between tracks. Fidelity also varies from tune to tune due to different recording sources. Overall, record still sounds great on my player.
Makes a great gift for any fan of the Prez!
