Les Baxter - Hell´s Belles - OST LP

Sidewalk. ST-5919. Yellow label. Stereo. US-69.

Graded cover/record VG/VG+
Cover has some ring wear and 1 weared corner (upper left, top of spine). Small cut out hole.
Record has 3-4 thin surface hairlines, no scratches, fine on the whole.
Labels has 2 initials written on them but no spindle marks.
Sound quality is affected a bit by some slight occasional background noise heard between the tracks..
Plays and looks great on the whole!!

 

Superb original soundtrack!

What a beat! Groovy all the way with bass, drums, percussion, fuzzed guitar, organ, horns, some harmonica etc.
3 tracks are vocal, sung by Lenny Adelson, the other 9 are instrumental.
Written, arranged and conducted by Les Baxter, mostly known for his exotica records,
but he made several scores for films too.

This is among the best, not only in his catalog, but also among many other sixties psych beat soundtracks.
