Many of this week’s selections come from the collection of Prominent Baltimore Jazz Promoter, Benny Kearse, of the Left Bank Jazz Society ~ Including many Promos and Private Press LP!

Leo Jones plays the trumpet and is joined by some junior high school students on
electric guitar, electric clavinet, electric bass, acoustic bass and flute, drums, conga,
afucha,maracas and bongo!
Great sidelong jams " Fire Engine" and “Crossover” ~ freak out in all the right ways!
Leo was definitely in a Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" zone! He studied for several years with
Bill Dixon and received grants from NYC's Dep't. Of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs
for his work with the Lower East Side Community Music Workshop.
The organization was co-founded by Leo Jones with the goal of encouraging musical creativity.
