Description
Lenny Kravitz - Official BPI Music Industry Award
This is a genuine BPI British music industry Gold Award for 100,000 sales of the album, ‘Mama Said’. It was presented in 1991 to a record company employee. This award is in a gold metal frame measuring 16x20 inches (41x51cms). There are a few small marks on the disc itself (see photo), but it still looks great hanging on the wall. The plaque mounted below the record includes the BPI logo and the following text:

BPI (British Phonographic Industry) awards are the British equivalent of American RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
