Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Legend – Legend (“Red Boot”) on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 019.
The record is in VG condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and scuffs and on the first track of side two one is a tiny, sounding mark. are two visible and sounding marks. I have test played this album and it plays through with very light crackling, but it’s not very disturbing. The labels in EX minus condition, there are some spindle marks on both sides and side A has a SAMPLE RECORD sticker.
The cover is in VG to VG+ condition, there is some handling and storage wear along the seams and opening edge and the spine has some small bald spots. Besides mentioned damage there is no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
Although not in a dream Mint condition, this second album by Legend, just called Legend (like their 1969 debut album) but better known as “Red Boot” is still very presentable. These first Swirl pressings of Legend albums are becoming very scarce these days. A real must have for all Legend fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!
