Slimming down my personal collection and here is a great opportunity to purchase a truly rare and remarkable record by Legend. This is the debut "red boot" album from the legendary Micky Jupp.


This is the first press on the iconic vertigo swirl label. These don't come up for sale that often, which makes it one of the rarer swirls to get your hands on. These sold in very small numbers back in 1970. Let's get on with the description..


The vinyl would have to grade somewhere between Ex and Ex plus, a really nice copy and hard to find in this condition. The vinyl shows very little signs of play. The vinyl is still bright and glossy, there is the odd paper scuff which has zero impact on the sound quality. It plays through with no nasty pops or skips. The sound output is supreme as you would expect from a first press in this condition. The record runs straight and true with no warps. The labels are clean and tidy with no ink marks. A real gem of a record that would sit proudly in any collection.



The inner sleeve is also in Ex condition, no splits with a minor crease to the bottom corner.


The outer sleeve would grade as a VG.. There are two stickers marks on the front. Please see pics. The spine and corners are mildly warn with the text still present on the spine. The outer sleeve has kept its shape well. There has been a repair to the insert section of the outer sleeve but this is barely noticeable. It appears someone enthusiastically put the record back in the sleeve at one point but overall the outer sleeve is still in reasonable condition. 


I send all my records sign for through Royal Mail. The record has also been professionally cleaned using record cleaner solution. The record will be shipped in solid cardboard for record safety and a generic inner sleeve with carry the vinyl to avoid the vertigo inner being damaged in transit.
