Up for sale is this Box Set, 3x10" special edition version of "Chapter 1" produced by Lee Perry and released by Abraham for Record Store Day 2013. Vinyl is pressed on colored vinyl, a different color for each disc. Includes 2 bonus tracks not on the original release and is an edition of 2000 copies.

This copy is used but is in Near Mint condition (box) and Near Mint/Mint to the discs as it's been played approximately 1x.

THE early 70's classic DUB record featuring Scratch & Company: The Upsetters. These recordings are the producer's known collaborators, featuring an assemblage of pulsating organs, distorted guitar scratches, and deep BASS. Vocals come in the form of the standard dub production arrangements and occasional Rasta philosophizing. The most striking track is "Tighten Up", an infectious tune, with a fine groove that is transformed thru Perry's production methods. The entire track is warped beyond belief almost sounding as if it's under dreamy, Jamaican water. Limited 3 x 10" boxset on RED, GREEN, and GOLD vinyl, with 2 bonus tracks, for RSD.
