LEE PERRY - Revolution Dub - Cactus CTLP 112 - Rare!

This week I'm auctioning a great batch of reggae, ska and calypso titles - you can see the rest by clicking on the 'See seller's other items' link above. I have tried to grade them all both visually and audibly but please remember that these are used records, many of which will have been pressed on non-premium vinyl, so some low-level surface noise may inevitably be present, though not to any great extent. For this reason I will not use the NM (near-mint) grade, even where the record has hardly been played. In such cases I will use EX+, with EX and EX- describing slightly more in the way of surface noise that is still not excessively distracting. Where the effects of wear rise above this minimum threshold I will mention this in the description and grade as VG+, VG or VG-. I have used the term 'surface noise' - none of these records have any deep scratches, and none of them jumped at any point during play (I am at present using an Ion USB deck to digitize my collection, and I cannot guarantee that no jumps will occur on ultra-sensitive audiophile equipment). Basically, if I thought the sound quality interfered with the enjoyment of listening, I wouldn't be selling the record - I know only too well the frustration of buying vinyl described as EX that turns out to be scratched to buggery!

Well, I see someone couldn't wait to bid on this great LP! Let me tell you anyway - this is another mad dub collection from Scratch, from 1975, with loads of nutty sound effects/samples, including dialogue from the Doctor On The Go TV comedy series that had just hit the TV screens that year, on the track of the same name. Genius at work! One of the hardest Lee Perry titles to find. Condition is EX.
