Description

Blue Note Records BLP 4199, this is an original US mono pressing of the classic Lee Morgan LP "The Rumproller".  This pressing has the classic blue & white labels with the "New York USA" address notation; "VAN GELDER" is clearly stamped in the dead wax. There are no deep grooves under the labels.  Morgan is joined on this date by Joe Henderson, Ronnie Matthews, Victor Sproles, and Billy Higgins.  Jacket is VG+, showing some ring wear (front and back), some handling at corners, a 2" top center seam split, and some old sticker residue wear at top right corner (see photo below).  LP is a shiny and clean EX, showing some minor paper marks on either side.  Playback is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear.  Buyer pays $9.50 priority or $4.00 media shipping in the US, $16.50 airmail overseas.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
