Description

Lee Morgan City Lights LP on Blue Note. Stereo BST 81575. Liberty Records

Features Curtis Fuller, George Coleman, Ray Bryant, Paul Chambers, Art Taylor. Recording by Rudy Van Gelder.

Sleeve shows signs of wear and age and prior enjoyment with shelf wear to surface and corners. Edges has some wear to top and spine. Overall good.

Paper sleeve yellow/brown with age with some creasing to one top corner otherwise good.

Album proper is dusty and in need of cleaning. Has a number of scuffs some of which may be dirt that may remove with cleaning but a couple look to be needle drags across the surface. Standard hiss and pop of an old record. Overall fair to good, maybe better? Doesn't look that bad to me but don't want to oversell it.

I was slightly familiar with the area at when I bought this and am about 50/50 with Sidewinder LP but just can't hang with this one. Try as I might to appreciate jazz, I've apparently got low tolerance for brappity brap.

Records I am selling are as I found them and came from a collection from a casual listener, not a collector and show signs of use and enjoyment and are in need of cleaning. I collect tools and guitars and while a fan of music in general I don't normally deal in vinyl lps other than to listen to them for my own enjoyment and I don't do much of it at that. All of which is a long-winded way to explain that I'm not a dealer and I'm not confident in my lp grading skills in comparison to what you might consider to be "industry standards". Have taken Max number of photos and described to best of my abilities. Please see photos and ask all questions before bidding.
