LEE MORGAN “Indeed!” aka “Presenting” RVG, P, DG, FR, Blue Note BLP 1538 Mono Vinyl

This is the 1957, first issue, “RVG” etched, Laminated Cover, Deep Groove, Flat Rim, “P” pressing of LEE MORGAN’s “Indeed!” aka “Presenting Lee Morgan” on the "767 Lexington Ave” labels of Blue Note BLP 1538. Musicians include Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Clarence Sharpe, Wilbur Ware, Philly Joe Jones.

Flat Rim VINYL plays with consistent heavy surface noise (i.e, crackle, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with repeating pops and ticks. But ensemble sections are clear. Some groovewear present. No distortion. Surface very worn.  SMALL CHIP IN LEAD IN GROOVE WILL REQUIRE BUYER TO PLACE STYLUS SLIGHTLY BEFORE MUSIC GROOVES. CHIP DOES NOT GO INTO MUSIC GROOVES. Many hairline marks, several feeable marks. The “767 Lexington Ave” labels are worn, dirty, with stains. See photos.

FRAME COVER IS WORN. Tape reside on cover at seams and spine.   “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave, New York 23” back jacket shows wear, tape, stains, ink marks. Please see photos.

LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
