Rare 1st press of this Classic
DEFINITE Vintage pressing of this item, NOT a current reissue. ALL of my auctions are US pressings unless otherwise noted.ORIGINAL LP on the BLUE NOTE label. Catalogue # BLP 1538. Has the Deep Groove, 767 Lexington Avenue address on BOTH sides, RVG and Ear ETCHED into the run out groove, No R on label, and 767 Lexington address on back cover. Absolute 1st press of one of Lee's Rarest Lps. Features CLARENCE SHARPE, HORACE SILVER, WILBUR WARE and PHILLY JOE JONES. Still has the Original Rice Paper sleeve as well.
Condition on this item is VG+ on the Vinyl with a few light marks NONE OF WHICH affect the playing experience. This is a nice sounding copy. Condition on the Cover is VG+ with some tape residue on the seams, very light edge wear, lower 1 inch seam split, and a name written on the upper right corner of the back cover. Overall this is a nice copy to add to a collection.
All my records are graded VISUALLY, as I do not have time to play everything.
