VINYL plays with very low level surface noise (i.e, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments) with occasional ticks or pops. But the instruments are very dynamic, clear and strong with clean transients, solid bass frequencies and full tone. No distortion. No skips. Handful of hairline marks, none feelable. Both sides have excellent gloss. Plays beautifully overall. See photos. As with all first pressing Blue Note discs, the powerfully recorded and performed music overcomes imperfections. The “New York USA " labels are clean with a minor spindle marks. See photos. Original inner sleeve included.

COVER is in good shape, ringwear, fading, chip on cover at opening. Corners worn. Spine and seams show cracking, wear, and a couple small splits. Top seam two-inch tape at opening.  “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York, N.Y. 10023” back jacket shows some aging, stains, ringwear. See photos.
