Description
- Lee Michaels released his fifth studio album "5th" in 1971 on A&M Records. It was a Top 20 album with the hit singles "Do You Know What I Mean" and "Can I Get A Witness." He plays organ and piano and sings every song. He is backed by Joel Larson on drums and Jackie Kelso on saxophone.
- This rare copy of (SP-4302) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in amazing Near-Mint condition for a 50-year-old record. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at A&M Studios in Hollywood and this copy was pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is etched A&M SP4503-M1 (MR) ∆15952 (1x) except for the Monarch (MR) logo which is stamped.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
