I have been in the record collecting / selling business for over 30 years and own a record store that has been doing business for the past 16 years. I try to bring only CLEAN vinyl to the market place and can appreciate a fellow collector's quest for such. LABEL: Atlantic #8216 stereo
COVER CONDITION: VG++. Some edgewear.
RECORD CONDITION: STRONG VG+ TO VG++. There are a few light sleeve scuffs. No deep scratches. Vinyl plays VG++.
NOTABLES: This is the ULTRA RARE 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin's 1st Lp that was issued with the incorrect color labels. A mix-up at the factory allowed a very few of these Lp's to be released with ATCO BROWN and PURPLE labels instead of the ATLANTIC (RED/GREEN labels). As Atlantic records also released Atco records, this is a true factory mistake. These are getting extremely difficult to find and this one is in nice shape with BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT LABLES! No writing and no spindle marks! Only the 3rd copy I've seen in 30+ years and the other 2 were in poor condition. A MUST FOR ANY ZEPPELIN COLLECTOR! Don't miss it!
