THIS IS A GENUINE UK EARLY PRESSING ON HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH RARE CORRECTIVE STICKERS ON THE RED AND PLUM LABELS.
COMES WITH ORIGINAL GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH VERY RARE ERROR: The inner 'Hermit' illustration has been wrongly rotated 180º and glued inside the cover the WRONG way round. When the gatefold is open, the Hermit's head and lantern are at the BOTTOM of the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the cover, instead of being at the top of the left hand cover like almost every other issued version.
PLUS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE WITH VERY RARE MISPRINT: The flipback textured thick grey paper inner sleeve has a very rare misprinted dark grey outer edge border on both sides. (Made with two rear foldover flaps and includes five lines of wording underneath the tracklisting, including "PHOTOGRAPHY KEITH MORRIS").

Vinyl: EX+ / EX++ Genuine original early UK pressing, on heavyweight vinyl. Some very light hairline marks on each side, plus a couple of other more noticeable marks but these are not feelable and don't affect playback. Record sits flat and plays through on both sides with no sticks, skips or jumps. Audio is loud, clear and strong throughout, with superb sound reproduction, musical staging and audio separation.
Sleeve: VG++ Genuine original early UK release gatefold card cover is made from smooth, unlaminated card on all sides. The inner 'Hermit' illustration has been wrongly rotated 180º and glued inside the cover the WRONG way round. When the gatefold is open, the Hermit's head and lantern are at the BOTTOM of the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the cover, instead of being at the top of the left hand cover like almost every other issued version. Light wear to the cover's corners and outer edges, plus a 'repaired' sticker rash mark on the front cover's top left hand corner.
Spine: VG Storage wear across the spine, with more surface damage at the corner edges.
Labels: EX++ / EX++ Genuine original early UK press labels have two corrective stickers perfectly intact on each side, which show no signs of discolouring or any wear or tear. Each label also features the following: "Marketed by Polydor Records Limited" at 6 o'clock. "Under license from Atlantic Recording Corpn.” in the orange section, above the white centre band. "Led Zeppelin" is printed on one corrective sticker, and has been glued above the white band. Catalogue number at 3 o'clock, above circular Atlantic logo, reads "deluxe 2401012”. "Executive Producer Peter Grant” credit has been covered with a corrective sticker in the plum section, which shows the song publishing credits as "Kinney Music Ltd./Superhype Music Inc.". Side 2 has the correct spelling of the track "Misty Mountain Top".
Inners: EX++ / MINT Supplied to you with the original printed textured paper inner sleeve  - which has a very small rip at the top opening edge on one side only, but no side edge snags or splits. The flipback textured thick grey paper inner sleeve has a very rare misprinted dark grey outer edge border on both sides, and is made with two rear foldover flaps and includes five lines of wording underneath the tracklisting - including "PHOTOGRAPHY KEITH MORRIS". The vinyl will be supplied to you in a brand new plain white paper inner sleeve with anti-static poly dust liner, to help preserve the original inner sleeve.
