I do not listen to the entire album before listing for sale. I do spot listen and base my grading on this plus a close visual inspection
Mint Condition- New condition. Both the record and the cover are perfectly clean and spotless
Near Mint - Used but has no/minimal flaws
Good- Used and has expected normal wear. For the record, this means some occasional surface noise but not enough to ruin the listening experience. For the cover this includes some ring wear and regular visual wear but the cover is intact in every way
Fair- Used condition and has more than average expected wear. For the record this includes an above average level of surface noise. For the cover this includes fraying and possible splitting with above average wear
Poor- The record has heavy surface defects and the cover has tears, bends, missing corners, possible splitting.
