Details: - Very Rare 1st UK 1969 `Thick Vinyl` Pressing on the `Plum/Red` Atlantic Label - with A1 & B1 earliest mattrix, with number crossed out on both sides and a hand etched 8/corrected matrix (only earliest press) with Warners Label credits in `Uptight & Outasight` Macneill Press, London Sleeve `the genuine article from 1969!!! - Run out/Matrix side 1 58#(8)171 A//1 - side 2 58#(8)171 B//1

Vinyl: (EX) Lovely `Thick Vinyl` 1st Press Copy, on close inspection under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can see several paper scuffs and some light hairlines, there are no feelable scratches, no sticks or jumps on playback or anything that ruined the listening experience (this being a quality thick 1st issue pressing it plays Fab) there will be some light dust style crackle in places. Still a very nice playing copy, comes with `plastic bags can be dangerous` inner Sleeve: (EX++) Laminated `MacNeill Press Ltd, London`, `Uptight An Outasight` original is a joy to hold as it has been so well looked after, Nice easy to read `pinched` Spine, undamaged edges, the usual small laminate spine creases, only one thumbnail laminate crease on opening which is very good for this album, no rubbing or ringwear, this really is a well above average copy of this rare sleeve (see photos) Labels: Slightly textures, very clean, amazingly can only see 1 or 2 spindle lines (though the record has had play), there is some light rubbing to colour on side 2 just below spindle hole, nothing major, and some extra printed lettering on side 1 (see photos) Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £9.50I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
