' 'Following the staggering reunion triumph at the O2, which I was lucky enough to be at, interest in Led Zeppelin is greater than ever. The site for the Ahmettribute.com tribute concert received an unbelievable 120 million hits, with 25 million people apparently registering for a Zeppelin ticket, its a great time to invest in an original copy early press of this classic Zep album.'

THIS IS A GREAT COPY OF PHYSICAL GRAFFITI . INSERT CONTAINS THE ALL IMPORTANT GOTHIC PRINTERS ASSIGNATION AND SWAN SONG KINGS RD ADDRESS

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: NR MINT – All four sides have a lovely sheen and sound great. There are a couple of light paper scuffs due to the thick card inners, and a couple of the lightest hairlines only. all in all its a wonderful copy which sounds fantastic. Glossy mirror like sheen, this is a wonderful example

Album Played For Grading: Yes – brilliant! - NR MINT sound quality throughout

This great record plays up to the high visual grading and beyond . it plays through with fantastic power. Top quality vibrant sound throughout. Supreme audio with nothing to distract form the overly enjoyment of this record and hardly any surface noise between tracks. The music jumps out, with definition and clarity, particularly on the percussion instruments, and vocals which come through with tremendous power. As is the same with the bass guitar and drums, whilst the guitars come through crisp and clear. All the power on every channel. The Tones are beautifully defined in this first UK pressing, with a great depth of sound and each channel being clearly defined, with a warm rich sound, which is infinitely superior to the later pressings.

Label Conditions: MINT. Splendid deeply coloured and attractive examples. no wear around the hole areas, no spindle traces with all ink uneroded and fully intact, virtually pristine, this also still fits very tightly around the record spindle.

Cover Grade and Format: NR MINT - un laminated, flat matt finish. this is a great example of the classic and totally unique PHYSICAL GRAFFITI cover. the Cover is complete and intact with only the lightest rubbing, virtually undetectable. There no splits at the opening edges. the Spine and spine text is totally intact, and again very square.. All the die cut windows are sharp and intact with no wear or damage what so ever.

The Inners: NR MINT – both inners are in NR MINT condition, with only the lightest corner rubbing. These are of course in the heavy card, that only the early pressings were made in.

The fold over sleeve for both records is in NR MINT condition, crisp and clean, with no mottling.

-

Side 2: Houses Of The Holy. Trampled Underfoot. Kashmir.

Album notes

Led Zeppelin: Robert Plant (vocals, harmonica); Jimmy Page (acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, background vocals); John Paul Jones (bass, keyboards, background vocals); John Bonham (drums, background vocals). Additional personnel: Ian Stewart (piano). Engineers include: Eddie Kramer, George Chkiantz, Andrew Johns. Recorded at Headley Grave, Hampshire, England; Olympic Studios and Islan, London, England; Stargroves, England between 1972 & 1974. Recording, which began in December 1973 and concluded in July 1974, took place in numerous locations, including Olympic Studios in London, Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio and The Rolling Stones' Mobile Studio.

Rarity - it is getting harder and harder to find good examples of early A1 Gothic pressings of PHYSICAL GRAFFITI, and very hard to find ones in this condition. more than that, this is a very early UK pressing, with full gothic and Kings road address assignations, with the correct cover and inserts, no WEA logos and all in NR MINT condition.

Vinyl. - large format covers with the original sound and mix of the highest quality sound.

Please note. I have described this vinyl as honestly and accurately as possible. Please allow for occasional static (possibly giving a very light crackle) that will nearly always be found on vinyl, No matter how perfect an example it is, or how well it has been looked after

Static caused by dust in the grooves of the vinyl, is not the same as mechanical damage to the vinyl, i.e. a tick or jump caused by a deep scratch or chip.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.
