Description

Here is the mega rare Japanese 7" Test Press/Promo "Mandolay" from Led Zeppelin coupled with "Stairway To Heaven" on the B-Side.

This test press was produced by the Yuusen Broadcasting Corporation in Japan and was intended for Radio Station use only - a very unique pressing and one that rarely appears for sale.

The titled insert is in very good+++/excellent condition with two tape marks (very common on Japanese promos). I would grade the vinyl as only good as it has a few scratches. The labels have 33rpm written on them in Japanese... it was very unusual for 7" singles to require playing at 33rpm - that's why you'll rarely find this particular promo without writing on the labels... it was done so radio DJ's would play the record at the correct speed!
