Description
Led Zeppelin LP, Led Zeppelin III. UK Atlantic 2401002 PLUM/RED label FIRST ISSUE, 1970, with disc matrix numbers ending in A/5...B/7, & 'Do What Thou Wilt' & 'So Mote It Be' etched into the run-off grooves......... also this copy has the rare misprinted 'Celebration' side one label tracklisting, instead of 'Celebration Day'.
The 'SD 7201' USA-printed gatefold sleeve is in fairly decent condition, with some storage wear but no writing or seam splits, mostly clear spine text & a clean inside cover....the rotating wheel is present but not attached, as the 'centre pin' is missing........ very clean labels..... side one of the disc is very clean, & plays really well with no sound problems...... side two has a couple of slight marks only & again plays mostly really well, with just a few pops & clicks at the very beginning of 'Gallows Pole' & on some quieter parts of 'Tangerine'.....certainly nothing too prolonged or disruptive .... overall, a decent & very playable original UK copy.
