Selling my Record Collection LED ZEPPELIN ~ In Through The Out Door
On offer we have the full set of Led Zeppelin’s remarkable "In Through The Out Door" LPs ALL in great condition.
All of the records are UK 1st Pressings on LED ZEPPELIN’S Swan Song label with the exception of record "A" which appears to be a first german pressing marked SS 4910 not SSK at per UK pressing. (See photo), it too has a thick card inner sleeve and the first pressing marks! All are complete with their thick card inner sleeves and four have their original bags. Issued in 1979 this LP was sold with six different covers, each marked A through to F on the spine. Here we have the complete set. However the LPs were sold inside brown paper bags so you didn't know which version you had until you got home and opened it! If you have a UK pressing marked A and a couple of the brown bags you could cheaply put together the complete set. Apparantly some of the series of records are harder to find than others, "A" being most common and "E" being the hardest to find. This 6 LP Set is in great condition with a couple of minor scratches on record B but all components are in great condition. Odd that the "A" in my set is a first german pressing! Please see photos. They are all marked on the inner edge of record with the Strawberry mark and SSK 49510 which I tried to have shown in photo. With the exception of Record "A" which is a 1st German pressing the remaining collection are all UK 1st pressing and have the correct UK 1st press mark on them, 'STRAWBERRY' is stamped in the run off grooves and the A5/B5 matrix.
All of the "magic paint" inner sleeves are intact and had the correct printed and made in UK text. One has a slight bleed again as shown in photo, nothing too detrimental. The 4 brown outer bags have the UK Cat No SSK 59410 and text '© 1979 A SWAN SONG RECORDING DISTRIBUTED BY WEA RECORDS LIMITED'. The UK issue brown outer bags have distinctive lines as do the ones included in this auuction. plain bags are from foreign pressings. All 5 of the 'B TO F' matte sleeves have the © 1979 A SWAN SONG RECORDING' and 'SSK 59410' SPINE TEXT! The Record "A" is marked SS 59410 as shown in photo.
