Description
Led Zeppelin's classic third album released in 1970 on the UK red/plum Atlantic label, catalogue number 2401 002. A stunning NEAR MINT pressing with the legendary 'Do What Thou Wilt' etched into the dead wax by Jimmy Page. This fantastic copy also has the VERY RARE 'Celebration' side one track list label error. All these classic tracks are reproduced superlatively with NO DISTORTION from groove wear whatsoever. In fact this copy has had BARELY ANY PLAYS with NO SPINDLE MARKS on the labels. You have to actually push the disc down on to the turntable, it fits so snugly to the spindle ! There are only five clicks on the entire record being in 'Tangerine'. Just some faint crackles on run ins and between tracks. Nothing in the actual tracks. The labels are completely blemish free and look like they were printed yesterday ! The vinyl is in pristine condition with NO MARKS ANYWHERE !! The vinyl grades easily as NEAR MINT. The cover grades as EXCELLENT- with no defacements, tears etc. Some light discolouration and a 'mottled' patch on the inside of the sleeve under the text. The record also has it's original poly lined inner sleeve. So, a SUPERB example of this amazing record and in such rare condition. You would be hard pushed to find a better used vinyl copy anywhere !!
