LED ZEPPELIN III UK 1ST RED/PLUM 'DO WHAT THOU WILT' !!

Description

LED ZEPPELIN

"LED ZEPPELIN III"

UK ATLANTIC RED/PLUM 2401002

EXCELLENT SLEEVE, PRINTED AND MADE IN ENGLAND BY E.J. DAY WITH PROPERLY REVOLVING FRONT COVER WHEEL IN DIE CUTS

FULLY PLAY GRADED VINYL - FROM START TO FINISH

PLAYGRADED: not simply glanced at with a superficial visual grading, fully played and graded throughout (listened to on headphones - the most revealing playgrade method, with no exterior audio distractions)

OUTER SLEEVE:

One of the better ones I've seen with very little wear at all and not worn away like the vast majority out there!

Excellent condition, just some minor wear to bottom edge and with fully attached and properly revolving wheel

Usual laminate creases to rear sleeve.

 SPINE

Excellent, still nice and square, unlike most that are virtually flattened! Perfectly legible. Superb condition.

TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES

very good, just some thumbing wear to bottom of front edge

OPENING EDGES

very good, just some thumbing wear to opening

VINYL:

' D o  w h a t   t h o u   w i l t '   2 4 0 1  0 0 2   A 5

' S o   m o t e   i t   b e '   2 4 0 1  0 0 2   B 5

PROPER 1ST PRESS MATRICES, ALL HAND ETCHED AND COMPLETE WITH THE RARE ALEISTER CROWLEY QUOTATIONS

Pretty good looking vinyl that on first inspection doesn't look too great, but IT PLAYS MUCH BETTER THAN IT LOOKS! there are quite a few superficial light scratches here and there, but fortunately the music covers pretty much most of the background noise. There are some light clicks and pops in between tracks and the expected background crackle. The loud tracks are great with superb tone and volume on all frequencies, even the quiet tracks are pretty good, with just some light background crackle, not too intrusive at all. Plays better than I expected.

Plays right through perfectly with no jumps or sticks.

LABELS:

The iconic and highly collectible original UK Atlantic Red/Plum labels, good condition with a few visible spindle traces. There's a small name written in the white band on A side and there are a couple of white lines on the Plum section of B side. Not too bad though.

INNER SLEEVE:

Just a plain white one.

POSTAGE AND PACKING:

I recycle as much existing material as possible and reuse record mailers if they are of good enough quality. Edges and corners are reinforced with packing tape. Stiffeners are used to strengthen and support the record.

Vinyl is removed from the outer gatefold to prevent any 'knifing' to the outer sleeve.

I ship in the UK using Royal Mail 1st Class. A certificate of postage is obtained for every item. Signed for delivery is available on request at extra cost. Please ask.

Feedback is left for buyers once they have contacted me and left feedback stating they are happy with their purchase. Should there be any issues, please contact me first.

I ship worldwide. Item will be shipped in board-backed envelope for maximum protection.
