Led Zeppelin III A5 / B5 Red/Plum with Celebration error
This early red/plum pressing plays with immaculate clarity and definition, the playback is stunning! This is a rare album as you do not often find the 'Celebration' error on the first press matrix of this classic album. It is generally found on the A5/B6 or A5/B7 pressings.

Play grading
In a word, stunning! S1 has no interference and the clarity during the quieter sections is superb. 'Since I've Been Loving You' is a classic example of that, it could not play any better. 'Out On The Tiles' has some of the usual inner groove distortion but is still a very strong version with no intrusion. The clarity again on S2 is sensational and the only interference is one click on 'Gallows Pole' and another on 'Hat's Off...'. I am not exaggerating when I say 99% of this classic album plays 'as new' the playback is phenomenal!
Visual grading
The vinyl is in beautiful condition and retains a superb glossy sheen. It has not been played very much in my opinion and that is reflected in the stunning audio. There are no marks or scratches and only one faint hairline on S2. There is hardly any spindle wear on S1 and only a little on S2. A fantastic example.
The Gatefold
This cover is in lovely condition with barely any wear and the rotating 'wheel' works perfectly. The edges are very clean with hardly any rubbing and the corners are also very impressive, just minimal wear bottom right. The wide spine is in perfect condition and the opening edge has hardly any handling wear either. Both the front and back cover are so clean and the latter has none of the yellowing around the edges that you so often see. The back cover just has one very faint crease top left. The inside of the gatefold is 'as new'. A superb example of this iconic cover.
The Inner Sleeve
The original poly-lined 'Plastic Bags...' inner has no side splits or marking and only minimal creasing and is dated 0471.
The Labels
The red/plum labels are in fantastic order with no marking or writing and only a little spindle wear.

This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
