Most listings visually graded ONLY, on a best efforts basis. I try to provide relevant details about the appearance to back up the letter grade applied. You are purchasing with that understanding. There is enough room for disagreement about how a record looks, without trying to assess how it sounds. If you are not happy with the look or sound of the item, you may return it with the understanding that refunds are limited to the sales price of the item, and return shipping is at buyer expense.
I am getting more unusual questions/comments on this listing than any in my nearly 30 years on eBay. Here are a couple of examples/answers: 1. The BRAND of my turntable and cartridge really does not matter. The only thing that matters is that I am using the SAME tracking weight on my Rega Planar 25 tone arm when testing this LP as I use when playing any other LP. Is it possible that the buyer will experience different results than I do? Of course; you may have a very worn or dirty cartridge, your turntable may be unlevel, etc etc. I have no knowledge or control over your environment. 2. The condition of this LP has been clearly disclosed. A reasonable person knows to expect a certain level of surface noise, crackles, and clicks. That person also knows that the surface noise will be more audible during quiet passages than loud ones. I don't have a decibel meter, nor do I know of any way to exactly measure or describe the level of surface noise compared to the music on any segment.
