I'm thrilled to offer for sale this INCREDIBLY RARE ATLANTIC PYE CONTRACT version of Led Zeppelin II...

THERE WERE MANY VERSIONS PRESSED ON THE UK ATLANTIC RED AND PLUM ATLANTIC LABEL, AND DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND, A HANDFUL WERE CONTRACTED OUT TO PYE RECORDS - SO THERE ARE NOT MANY OUT THERE!!!

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PYE CONTRACT PRESSING, PRESSED ON HEAVIER VINYL, DETECTABLE AS THERE IS A 'DOUBLE RING' UNDER THE LABELS AND WITH JUST -A -B WITH NO NUMBERS IN THE RUN OFFS !!

The iconic gatefold outer cover is in good condition for age. Has no splits or tears, only age related discolouration/wear to corners, edges, spine as to be expected for an item of this age. Name to the inside.

The patent protective inner has age discolouration, creasing and penmanship.

The vinyl has retained a nice glossy sheen in appearance and sits flat to the surface. Has the sought after plum/orange Atlantic labels which show the scarce 'LEMON SONG' track and 'THANK YOU', but more importantly shows this is a RARE PYE CONTRACT VERSION!!! There are some light surface lines and a scuff patch, all of which are non feelable.

OVERALL A RARE SOUGHT AFTER PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR MUSICAL HISTORY COLLECTION.
