 PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES FOR CONDITION AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID!! SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY PLEASE...   Up for Auction: One of the Holy Grails for collectors... VERY RARE Led Zeppelin II White Label Promo (WLP)  This is the Presswell "HOT MIX" With RL (Robert Ludwig) and  SS (Sterling Sound) etched on both sides in the Runout. This pressing also has the small runout on Side Two which means this was one of the first pressings. From Discogs: Promotional copy of US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.
On some copies the Sterling Sound credit, "SS", appears in both runouts following Ludwig's "RL", and on others the "SS" appears only in the Side Two runout. The "RL" will still appear in both runouts.

Ask me any questions before you bid.  I do not grade VISUALLY... I playgrade.  I have had LPs with scuffs and scratches that played fine and  I have had LPs that looked clean but skip and/or get hung up.  I listen with my ears not my eyes...with my eyes I look at the LP cover while listening with my ears. THIS LP may have a scuff or a blemish and or/a tick or pop here and there but it HAS NO SKIPS OR HANG UPS... that fact I will guarantee!! WLP playgraded VG+ !! GUARANTEED!!  For a 1969 DJ Copy this thing plays GREAT!!
